The Challenge
1st Safari Day Nurseries operates 7 nursery locations across Yorkshire, each with its own staff, capacity, and Ofsted ratings. They needed a unified digital presence that could showcase each nursery individually whilst maintaining a consistent brand. Parents needed online access to invoices, funding information, and nursery communications. The existing website was outdated, not mobile-friendly, and couldn't handle the complexity of managing content for multiple sites. Each nursery needed its own dedicated pages with location-specific information, photo galleries, and staff profiles, whilst the central brand needed to tie everything together cohesively.
Our Solution
We built a comprehensive multi-site website using Next.js that serves as both a marketing platform and a parent hub. Each nursery has its own dedicated section with location-specific content, interactive maps, photo galleries, and real-time information about facilities and availability. The parent hub provides secure access to invoices with integrated online payment processing, funding eligibility information, and direct communication channels with nursery staff. The platform is designed for non-technical staff to update content across all 7 locations through an intuitive content management interface. SEO was implemented with location-specific optimisation for each nursery, ensuring parents searching for childcare in each area find the right nursery pages.
